Le lieu

It is an open hill, surrounded by woods, at the top of which stands a small thatched-roof stable. Shift holds nightly assemblies there around a fire and shows the crowd "Aslan," meaning Puzzle wearing a lion skin.

Ce qui s’y passe (révèle l’intrigue)

The final battle is fought there, against the Calormenes. Tirian, Jill, Eustace, Jewel, Poggin, and a few loyal ones are pushed one by one toward the Door of the Stable, while the dwarfs refuse to choose.

Those who pass through the door discover the land of Aslan. In the old book, this place was called "the Hill of the Stable."

It’s a bare hill near a wood in the Lantern Waste. At the top stands a small stable with a thatched roof. Shift holds his nightly assemblies there around a fire, and the Calormenes camp there.

La Dernière Bataille — Shift y montre le « faux Aslan » à la lueur du feu. Tirian y livre la dernière bataille. Ceux qui franchissent la porte de l’étable entrent dans la vraie Narnia.
