- Slinkey , a fox : he fights alongside the Calormenes. Eustace finds his body after the battle and wonders if he killed him.
- Jill , a satyr : he is hit by an arrow from Jill.
Looking and analysis
Lewis rejects a Manichaean view of peoples. There are just Calormenes (Emeth) and traitorous Narnians (Puzzle, Slinkey, Jill). At the final judgment, each creature is judged according to its view of Aslan, not by its species.
