Griffle, Diggle and the dwarfs "for the dwarfs"

In the book

Instead of joining Tirian, they proclaim : “The Marsh-wiggles are for the Marsh-wiggles !” During the battle, they shoot at both sides. Thrown into the Stable, they find themselves in the land of Aslan but do not see him : they believe they are in a dark and dirty stable. Aslan offers them a feast ; they think they are eating hay and drinking from a trough, and they argue over it. Aslan explains that they cannot be helped : they are prisoners of their own minds, and they are so afraid of being deceived that they cannot be brought in.
