En bref

The Shift is a large, elegant cat from Narnia with a smooth voice. He is part of Shift’s council and claims to understand everything better than the others. In reality, he neither believes in Aslan nor in Tash.

Son histoire dans les livres (révèle l’intrigue)

In the book

With Rishda Tarkaan, he takes over the plot when Shift sinks into drunkenness. They agree that the cat will enter the Stable and come out swearing he has seen “Tashlan,” to terrify the creatures. But when he enters, Tash is truly there. The cat comes out screaming, flees into the woods, and has lost his voice : he is once again a silent beast.

Chat Roux

After Shift, he became the leader of operations in the plot to destroy Narnia. He tried to convince the Narnians to rebel against Tirian. His name, in the English version, is Ginger. He truly saw Tash and went mad : no one ever saw him again.
