Le lieu
The Stone Table is a large gray slab resting on four standing stones, atop a hill. It is covered with lines and symbols of an unknown writing, perhaps the laws of Deep Magic. The Narnians consider it to be very ancient.

Ce qui s’y passe (révèle l’intrigue)
On the night the White Witch and her army shave, bind, and kill Aslan on the Stone Table with the Stone Knife, Susan and Lucy hear a great cracking at dawn : the table has split in two and Aslan is alive. He explains that a deeper Magic caused the Table to break and brought him back to life when a willing victim dies in place of a traitor.
Centuries later, a large mound, Aslan’s How, is raised over the broken Table. It becomes a sanctuary, then Caspian’s headquarters in Prince Caspian. The old site also called the place the “Secret Hill.”

Table of Stone
The table has existed for a very long time, standing on a hill. It is on this table that the future of Narnia will be decided, and it will be broken after the arrival of Aslan. It was apparently once used for sacrifices by evil beings.
Appearance in the books
*The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe* *Prince Caspian*
Secret Hill
It was the name given, long ago, to the hill on which the Stone Table was set. It will also be called the Hill of Aslan in *Prince Caspian*. Over the years, the Hill of Aslan submerged the Stone Table.
