During the Battle of Beruna, she petrifies many of Peter’s soldiers. Edmund, realizing that she must be disarmed, fights his way to her and shatters the wand with a single stroke of his sword. He is gravely wounded, but the tide of the battle turns.
The wand can also create enchanted food, such as Turkish Delight.
The Witch’s wand turns her enemies into statues. She uses it whenever she feels her authority is threatened. Edmund shatters it with a sword strike at Beruna, and this act decides the victory.
