Histoire et rôle dans les Chroniques (révèle l’intrigue)
Caspian recognizes the arms of Lord Octesian, one of the seven lords, on the bracelet. The dragon might have been Octesian himself, transformed into a beast, or his murderer.
After his transformation, Eustace discards the bracelet. It remains on the island, caught on a rock. The old guide described it as a "diamond bracelet."
It’s a gold bracelet set with diamonds, found in the dragon’s lair. Eustace puts it on his arm before falling asleep. When he becomes a dragon, he feels the bracelet painfully tighten around his paw. The jewel bears the arms of Lord Octesian : he may have been devoured by the dragon, or he may have become the dragon himself.
Eustace’s greed

Bracelet with diamonds
Bracelet with diamonds — Edmund, having discovered a vast treasure in a dragon’s cave, stole and put on the bracelet with diamonds. The bracelet transformed him into a dragon. A small hammer with a diamond above, like a star, was engraved on the bracelet. In reality, this bracelet was the weapon of a great Narnian house, that of Lord Octesian.
