The Lion Skin of Puzzle

Covered in the skin, Puzzle is shown from a distance at night, by the light of the fire, as if he were Aslan. Shift speaks in Aslan’s name and imposes all kinds of orders on the Narnian creatures.

The old site recalls how the skin was used by Puzzle and Shift. Jill removes it from Puzzle, and Tirian shows it to everyone to expose the deception.

This is the remains of a lion, fallen into the Cauldron from the top of the waterfall. Shift has Puzzle retrieve it. While the donkey is at the market, the monkey sews a crude costume, which Puzzle will wear to play the false Aslan.
