The story

The Magician’s Nephew

While exploring the attic, Polly and Digory accidentally stumble into her uncle Andrew’s study. He tricks Polly : he makes her touch a yellow ring, and she disappears. She becomes the first to reach the Wood Between the Worlds. She quickly understands how the rings work and proposes a simple solution, marking their pool, so they don’t get lost. In Charn, she begs Digory not to strike the bell. He twists her wrist to stop her, and she will make him pay for it with some sharp remarks. She then witnesses the creation of Narnia, rides the flying horse Strawberry with Digory, and becomes, along with him, one of the first witnesses of Narnia’s early days.

The Last Battle

"Digory," who remained friends with Polly throughout her life, joins the friends of Narnia. She dies in a railway accident and enters Aslan’s Country.

It was when she met Digory Kirke, her neighbor, that she would discover a world even crazier and more wonderful than the one she lived in. She was the first, along with her little neighbor, to enter this fabulous world of Narnia. More mature, they returned to Narnia at its very end, in *The Last Battle*. She died in a train accident and thus reached the New Narnia.
