Histoire et rôle dans les Chroniques (révèle l’intrigue)
The horn is lost at the end of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It is kept for centuries, then handed over to Caspian by Doctor Cornelius. Caspian blows it at the Stone Table, and the four Pevensies are pulled from the railway station into Narnia.
The original site presented the bow, the quiver, and the horn of ivory as a single set.
The ivory horn is one of Father Christmas’s gifts to Susan. Whoever blows it in great need receives help. Doctor Cornelius keeps it for centuries and gives it to Caspian, who blows it when cornered.
The connection between The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian is that the latter is a direct sequel to the former. In The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the Pevensie children (Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy) are crowned Kings and Queens of Cair Paravel and become known as the "Kings and Queens of Old" in Narnia. When they return to Narnia in Prince Caspian, they find that centuries have passed in Narnia while only a few years have gone by in their own world. They must help Prince Caspian reclaim his throne from the usurper King Miraz, who has driven the Old Narnians into hiding. The connection lies in the fact that the Pevensies’ reign in Narnia is a significant part of Narnian history, and their return is tied to the events of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Le Lion, la Sorcière blanche et l'Armoire magique — Susan s’en sert pour appeler à l’aide quand Maugrim la menace.
Le Prince Caspian — Caspian en sonne, et les Pevensie sont arrachés à notre monde.
