Le lieu

At the beginning of Prince Caspian, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are waiting on the platform of a country train station for the train that will take them back to boarding school. Suddenly, they feel pulled, as if by a magnet, and find themselves in a wood near the sea : Susan’s horn has been blown by Caspian.

Ce qui s’y passe (révèle l’intrigue)

At the end of the book, they return through Aslan’s door and find themselves back on the same platform, in their school clothes. Edmund regrets leaving his new electric torch behind in Narnia.

The theme of the train reappears in The Last Battle, where a railway accident leads the heroes to Aslan’s country.

A small English country train station where the four children wait for their train to boarding school. In The Last Battle, another train station becomes the site of a railway accident.

Le Prince Caspian — Les Pevensie sont tirés hors du quai par l’appel du cor de Susan.

La Dernière Bataille — Les amis de Narnia sont tués dans un accident de train, ce qui les conduit dans la vraie Narnia.
