L’objet

With the horn, Father Christmas gives Susan a bow and a quiver full of arrows. He tells her that she must not fight in the battle unless absolutely necessary.

In Prince Caspian, Susan finds the bow in the treasure room, but not the horn. She beats Puddleglum in an archery contest and hits an apple at a great distance. She shoots a Telmarine soldier to save the Marsh-wiggle.

The old site presented the bow with the horn as a single gift.

Father Christmas gives Susan a bow, a quiver full of arrows, and a horn. He asks her to only fight if absolutely necessary, as he does not want her to fight. The bow remains at Cair Paravel when the children leave Narnia. They find it again in the treasure room.
