Ce qui s’y passe (révèle l’intrigue)

The crew understands with horror what this means : not the sweet dreams, but the nightmares. Panicked, they scramble to escape. Lucy prays for Aslan to help them : an albatross appears, whispers "courage, my heart" and guides the ship toward the light.

Once outside, the black island has disappeared behind them. Rhoop, exhausted, only wishes to forget.

It is a mass of darkness on the sea, without sun. Dreams become real there, especially nightmares. Lord Rhoop has been imprisoned there for years.

L'Odyssée du Passeur d'Aurore — Le navire y entre, l’équipage est pris de terreur. Lucy appelle Aslan, un albatros apparaît et guide le bateau vers la sortie. Rhoop est sauvé.

Dark Island

The fifth of the Lone Islands yet to be explored. It is a dreadful place where all is darkness. It is a place where it is darker than in a coal cellar and where all dreams (even the most horrible ones) come true. Lord Rhoop was saved there. It was destroyed after the passing of Caspian X and his companions.
