The White Witch's reign

The wolves of Narnia serve the White Witch as secret police, under the orders of Maugrim (Fenris Ulf in American editions).

Ce qui leur arrive dans les livres

Le Lion, la Sorcière blanche et l'Armoire magique, Le Prince Caspian

The wolves form the police of the White Witch. Maugrim, their captain, arrests Mr Tumnus and hunts the children. He is killed by Peter near Cair Paravel. In Prince Caspian, a werewolf accompanies Nikabrik and the hag who want to recall the White Witch. Not all wolves are necessarily evil by nature, but those in the books side with the darkness.

They hunt down her enemies.
