Ce qui leur arrive dans les livres
L'Odyssée du Passeur d'Aurore, Le Fauteuil d'argent
In The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, an old dragon dies in front of Eustace, who then becomes a dragon himself by falling asleep on his treasure with greedy thoughts. A dragon is also mentioned in the legend of King Caspian at the lone islands. In The Silver Chair, dragons sleep in the Underworld and will only awaken at the end of the world. In The Last Battle, they emerge and devour Narnia’s vegetation before dying. The old site described them as winged creatures, scaly, resembling large lizards.
There is an old dying dragon on Dragon Island, and Eustace himself. A dragon once ravaged the Lone Islands, and dragons sleep in Underland until the end of the world.
Image of greed and the end of time.

Dragons
Dragons — They have wings, scales, and resemble very large lizards, breathing fire. In Western cultures, they are considered demons and represent evil. In Eastern cultures, people viewed them as good. In Narnia, dragons are selfish, greedy creatures. They are part of the White Witch’s army. In *The Voyage of the Dawn Treader*, Eustace is transformed into one of them.
