The Talking Birds of Narnia, from the Longneck Eagle to the Raven Sallowpad and the Pelican, messengers and sentinels.

Nom original
Talking Birds
The messenger from the sky
The messenger from the sky

The talking birds of Narnia are many : eagles, ravens, owls, pelicans.

Ce qui leur arrive dans les livres

Le Neveu du magicien, Le Lion, la Sorcière blanche et l'Armoire magique, Le Cheval et son écuyer, Le Prince Caspian, L'Odyssée du Passeur d'Aurore, Le Fauteuil d'argent, La Dernière Bataille

The talking birds are messengers and scouts : their sight and wings make them valuable allies. The raven Sallowpad advises the kings in Tashbaan in The Horse and His Boy. The eagle Longue-Vue brings news from Cair Paravel in The Last Battle. An old crow points out the way to Bree in the desert in The Silver Chair. The song of the birds is also one of the first sounds of Narnia heard during its creation.

They serve as messengers and scouts.

Messengers and scouts.
