After the end of the world, the heroes find themselves in a land they recognize without ever having seen it before. It is the mountains, rivers, and forests of Narnia, but deeper, more colorful, and more "real." Digory explains that the old Narnia was but a shadow or copy of this new one.

The true Narnia communicates with the true England and all the real worlds. The old place called it "New Narnia."

The true Narnia is the Narnia that exists forever in the land of Aslan. Everything good in the old Narnia is there, more real and more profound. You can swim upstream against a waterfall, run without getting tired, and every inner circle is larger than the last.

La Dernière Bataille — Les héros y entrent par la porte de l’Étable. Ils y retrouvent leurs amis et montent « plus haut et plus loin » jusqu’au jardin d’Aslan.

New Narnia

After Aslan destroyed Narnia, he led all the creatures who were faithful to him into a new land : the New Narnia. However, this one is completely different : the colors are more intense and everything is larger. Each Narnia dies for one that is more beautiful and greater.

"And the sea in the mirror, or the valley in the mirror were in one way exactly the same as the real ones, and yet they were at the same time different—more intense, more wonderful, more like the setting of a story—of a story you have never heard, but which you have always longed to know." (p.203)
