Le lieu
Beyond Ramandu’s Island, the Great Eastern Ocean changes. The water becomes sweet and so clear that one can see the people of the sea, then it is covered with white lilies : it is the Sea of Silver. This water satisfies, sharpens the sight, and makes one no longer need to sleep or eat.

Ce qui s’y passe (révèle l’intrigue)
The Dawn Treader eventually runs aground. Caspian wants to continue alone, but Aslan, through the golden lion image in his cabin, orders him to return. Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, and Reepicheep proceed in a rowboat to a great still wave. Beyond it, the mountains of the land of Aslan can be seen.
Reepicheep crosses the wave in his coracle and does not return. The children then meet a lamb who becomes Aslan and sends them back to their world.
To the far East, the sea becomes sweet, calm, and bright. It stretches out with white lilies as far as the eye can see. Its waters satisfy, and they make the eyes able to look straight at the sun.
L'Odyssée du Passeur d'Aurore — Le Passeur d’Aurore s’y engage jusqu’à ce que l’eau soit trop peu profonde. Les enfants et Ripitchip continuent en barque jusqu’au mur d’eau du Bout du Monde.
